Scientific novelty

Scientific novelty (original contribution) in the manuscript submitted to the journal means the following:

  1. Authors present possible new approach/method/algorithm or a new system architecture/parts/environment which results e.g. in more deeper insight, better performance, lower complexity, wider application area etc.,
  2. Authors should verify the declared scientific novelty by convincing presentation of mathematical models, simulations, experiments, and compare it with the results published in the literature available from reliable sources with scientific indexation,
  3. Authors should declare the novelty in the abstract (shortly) and in the introduction (more elaborated), and present it in the appropriate (sub)section.

Note that the description of all details which are presented in the manuscript can not be considered as the scientific novelty.

IMPORTANT NOTE: JCOMSS does not publish review papers but only original scientific papers.
